Let’s go back in time: In 1995, Stephan Hofstetter-Ebner witnesses a sewer cleaning operation at Schwendermarkt in Vienna. The company called over works quickly and professionally, everything is done in 30 minutes. So far so good. However, Stephan Hofstetter-Ebner opines that the bill handed out on the spot for this short emergency job is entirely too high. So, without further ado, he decides to enter this business himself and to offer fair services at fair prices in the future.
His purchase of the very first pipe cleaning machine marked the beginning of the success story of the family business, which was joined shortly afterwards by his brother Simeon Schmoigl BA. Over the following years, DerKanal.at continuously grows to become one of the largest sewer service companies in Austria. Then as now, professional work, motivated and well-trained employees and maximum customer satisfaction rank among the rock-solid pillars of our daily work.
